The Seminar on Women Empowerment, held on National Women’s Day, aimed to celebrate the achievements of women and advocate for gender equality and empowerment. Through engaging discussions, inspiring speeches and interactive workshops, participants gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by women and explored strategies for promoting gender equity and inclusivity. The event encouraged collaboration and solidarity among attendees, fostering a sense of empowerment and collective responsibility for advancing women’s rights. Participants left the seminar with a renewed commitment to advocating for gender equality and empowering women in all spheres of life, contributing to a more just and equitable society for all.
Women Safety
Global Research Group of Institutions, Radaur, organized a seminar on “Women Safety” The resource persons for this program were Mr. Mahender Singh, SHO, Radaur; Ms. Komal, Sub-Inspector; and Mr. Pardeep, Head Constable. Ms. Komal, the keynote speaker, elaborated on various laws pertaining to women’s security, stressing the importance of vigilance, particularly in today’s digital age. She emphasized the need for cautious use of social media among students. Highlighting the prevalence of incidents such as molestation, rape, harassment, and violence against women, she underscored the gravity of the issue in contemporary society. Ms. Komal advocated for women’s empowerment through education, social and economic independence, and self-defense training. She emphasized the significance of women being aware of their rights and taking proactive measures for their safety. Encouraging women to communicate openly with their parents about any issues they face, she emphasized the importance of support networks.
