Promoting Professional Ethics: POSH Awareness Session at GRIMT

GRIMT successfully organized an insightful and awareness-driven session on April 22, 2026, under the expert guidance of Mrs. Yashaswini Sharma. Conducted in collaboration with the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), the session centered around the important theme, “Navigating the Grey Areas of Workplace Conduct.”
The primary objective of the session was to highlight the subtle yet significant differences between healthy workplace camaraderie and behaviors that may unintentionally cross professional boundaries or violate the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) guidelines. The discussion shed light on those “grey area” situations that are often overlooked but can impact the overall work environment.
Through an interactive and reflective dialogue, participants from the BBA Department actively engaged in understanding how certain actions, words, or gestures can be perceived differently in a professional setting. The session encouraged critical thinking and self-awareness, helping individuals recognize the importance of maintaining respect, professionalism, and appropriate boundaries at the workplace.
The event proved to be highly informative and thought-provoking, reinforcing the need for a safe, respectful, and inclusive work culture. It also emphasized the role of individuals in promoting ethical conduct and contributing to a positive organizational environment.
